I've basicly found that it's impossible to find stats on the Mashin, the FTO, etc. Guess thats what happens when mecha get shoujo. ^^; Anyways, I've done my best listing magic and weapons used by mecha in this show but there really aren't that many weapons. Most of this info comes from the end of season 2 because thats when Regalia and the FTO really see action. I think I'll go watch that now.

The Magic Knight's Mashin
Most of the mecha in Magic Knight Rayearth are gaurdians called mashin. Before being used as mechas they are found by the Magic Knights in the form of a large dragon(Selece) a large falcon(Windom) and a large lion(Rayearth). As mecha, these are "piloted" by the magic knights - Selece by Umi, Windam by Fuu and Rayearth by Hikaru - similarly to how one plays a VR game. Each magic knight fights and manuevers as though she were preforming the action and their mashin can use any magic that they can.

When not in mecha form, the "spirits" of the mashin can talk to the girls psychicly. A person is transported inside his/her mashin by means of a bright light path that puts them in there pretty quickly. ^^; All the mashin have a spherical area that is the equivalent of a "cockpit" where the owner stands and manuvers and such. This area is inside a jewel (seemingly outside of time and space though if that makes sense) on the mashin.

Other mashin in the show are Princes Emeraude's mashin(1st Season), High Preist Zagato's mashin(1st Season), and Nova's mashin known as Regalia(2nd Season). Regalia is awesome, and is my personal favorite. ^-^ As a side note, anyone inside a mashin can enable the mashin to use his or her magic. For instance(very, very minor spoiler)in the 2nd season Lantis is inside Nova's mashin, and so Regalia(under Nova's command)is able to use Lantis' magic. There was a compartment similar to the "cockpit" holding Lantis so I'm assuming all the other mashin have one of these little compartment things too.

Other
Also feaatured in Magic Knight Rayearth are FTO's. These are machines made in Autozam - one of the countries that invades Cephiro. Most notably is Eagle's FTO which was custom made for him. See "FTO custom" at the bottom of the MKR Mecha Stats Page for more information. The NSX is a ship made by autozam. Eagle (yay!) was it's commander, but it's of too little importance to talk much about.

The wings of Rayearth are made out of fire so it looks kind of weird. ^^; Of course, it is piloted by Hikaru so most things about it have to do with fire. the left arm has a built in shield when Hikaru's arms are crossed over her chest.

Windam is controlled by Fuu, so it basicly uses wind based magic.

Regalia looks a lot like the Mashin created when Selece, Windam, and Rayearth combine; just with different colors. I'd gather this is why Regalia is so incredibly strong that Selece, Windam, Rayearth, and the FTO together couldn't take it down. Yes, Regalia is one of the strongest mecha in Magic Knight Rayearth if not the strongest. Maybe because Regalia is a mix of magic and machine based weapons...

Now, about those weapons. ^^; To my knowledge(which isn't all that vast)there isn't aren't formal names for the spining top things or the X thing. The "spinning tops" are shot out of Regalia and attatch themself to something... then they blow up in a big electric frenzy.

The X thing is formed by Regalia's two rather short beam saber-like things. Nova just puts one on top of the other then she throws it and it has basicly the same effect as an energy blast(which is also used by Regalia). The main difference is that the "sabers" seperate and come back regardless of whether or not they've done any damage.

As I've already mentioned, Regalia uses large energy blasts from the hand and also from the wrist. In addition, it also uses small energy blast from the palm of the hand; very similar to a machine gun actually.

The FTO is a fighting machine that isn't all that uncommon. However, there are two custom FTOs in Magic Knight Rayearth; one for Eagle, and one for Geo. Eagle's FTO was made especially for him, this is why in one of the episodes Geo says something along the lines of "It's Eagle! No one else can pilot that thing like that." It's very mobile and good at hand to hand combat.

Eagle's FTO was made in Autozam(a city known for electronic and mechanical prowess)and is extremely durrable. Apparently, the FTO accepts certain vocal commands
EX: when Eagle says "FTO, go" it begins to go. ^^;

In one of the las episodes, the FTO puts some kind of globe thing around Regalia... after the conversation with Lantis, I'm assuming it was some kind of shield, but maybe some on elese is better informed...
